Membership in The Texas Genetics Society is open to all persons interested in genetics research, the training of geneticists, and the delivery of genetic services.
A membership fee is included in the annual meeting registration.
Goals of The Texas Genetics Society
- Promote the exchange of research results and the teaching of genetics by bringing together trainees and established researchers to share ideas
- Facilitate the best possible genetics research in the state of Texas
- Foster the development of all aspects of genetics
- Provide a forum for discussion of matters of interest to all geneticists
